

THOMAS LEE a.k.a. "TOMMY", "T. LEE", "LITTLE T" BOATMAN, ", 80, of Clearwater, Fla., died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Wood view A Waters Community, Fort Wayne. Born Aug. 18, 1934, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Glen and Lois (Fashbaugh) Boatman. Tom was a railway clerk and retired as cashier after 43 years of service with the NKP, N&W, and the NS Railroads. He had been a tutor with the Fort Wayne Literary Council and retired to Florida in 1997. Tom was a lifelong Presbyterian and was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Largo, Fla., where he served as a Deacon and an Elder. He volunteered with the American Cancer Society and Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. Tom was also a member of the Tampa Pharaohs. Never at a loss for a joke or story, he enjoyed quick and sharp wit, crossword puzzles, lively conversation, and humor of all sorts. Surviving are his sister, Luanne Johnson of Fort Wayne; three nieces, Lisa (Lee) Chesnut of Sidney, Ill., Jan (Skip) Chell of St. Louis Park, Minn. and Amy (Craig) Teeters of Fort Wayne; niece-in-law, Shelley Johnson of Fort Wayne; and six great-nephews.
