

Charles Stephen (Steve) Manley passed away October 12, 2012 at his home in Fountain. He was born April 5, 1937 in Fruita Colorado to Archie and Mildred E (Baxter) Manley. He graduated from Middle Park High School in 1955. After which he joined the US Army serving for 21 years working as a Radio Operator for Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS). In 1980 He graduated from El Paso Community College in Colorado Spring.
Steve married his wife Kathleen M. Manley in September of 1977.
He is survived by his wife Kathy of Fountain and children: Angela Nichols (Jamie) of Penrose CO; Charles S. Manley Jr. of Ely, NV; Wendy (Richard) Shutt of Conway, AR; Nona Manley of Las Vegas, NV; Robin (George) Farwell of Fountain, CO; Wanda Manley of Las Vegas, NV; Robert Canter of Colorado Springs, CO; Donald Manley (Amy) of Laramie, WY; Stephanie Canter of Denver, CO; James (Michelle) Manley of Fountain, CO and Albert Canter of Fountain, CO. Steve is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. As well as the mother of his children, Selma Lowery
He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Mildred Manley; one daughter Sheila Manley; brother Sidney Manley and sister Barbara (Manley) Louthan and granddaughter Olivia Smith.
He loved His Lord God and served Him faithful throughout his suffering. He love to fish, hunt , and his family time with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is now home with the Lord.
Visitation for Steve will be held Wednesday October 17th from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. Hwy 85/87 Fountain, CO and a Celebration of Life will be held Thursday October 18th at 1:00 P.M. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary.
