

11,1974. She was born in the union of Danilo de la Cruz (deceased) and Dorotea de la Cruz of the
Philippines. Daisy leaves behind to mourn: her husband, Levi Morrill, U. S. Army, Ret., mother Dorotea de la
Cruz, aunt Lucita Mayuga, and other closely related family members including stepdaughters Angela and Simba
Morrill, grandbabies Angelina, Patrick, and Josiah, sisters-in-law MJ Geiser of Barrow, Alaska, and Debbie
Becker and her husband of Severance, Colorado; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and
many close friends from around the world, including the Philippines, Thailand, California, and Colorado.
Daisy was an only child raised by a very loving mother and caring relatives. Despite their status in life, Daisy
studied in a Private Catholic School from Kindergarten until she finished college. She gained her Bachelor's
Degree in Mass Communications with the love and support of her struggling mother and auntie in Italy. She
worked in a public relations agency for two years in her country. Even though she was an only child, she left
her mother in 1997 to find her independence and luck in Thailand. There she made her way by becoming a
teacher of English as a Second Language. She enjoyed traveling in different parts of Thailand for nine years,
gaining lots of friends and students; she always considered Thailand her second home country. While working
in Thailand, Daisy found the love of her life and soul mate, Levi Morrill, who became her everything; whose
love, encouragement and support led her to join him in Holy Matriroony on December 8,2006 in Colorado
Springs, CO. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States on March 30,2011.
Over the past few years, Daisy has worked at Living Waters Church and Daycare, Picture Me, and JC Penney
Portraits. She joined St. Dominic Catholic Church in 2007. Daisy and Levi were a great team, encouraging and
loving each other through the joys of marriage and the trials of her illness. She was a very generous lady who
liked to volunteer her time and share her passion. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas
and created their Scrapbook She was one of the main photographers for the Susan G. Komen Race for the
Cure in 2009, and then elegantly performed the modeling for the Fashion for the Cure event in 2011.
The family invites Daisy's many friends to join them in a celebration of her life; requesting that any
monetary donations be used to help her aged mom and, a charity that was close to her heart, Brides Against
Breast Cancer.
