

Doris was born on August 18, 1936, in Stuttgart Germany to the late Heinrick Beeh and Theresia Kreszentia Beeh.
Doris lived a life marked by warmth and deep love for her family and friends. She was known for her welcoming nature; never having met a stranger she didn’t embrace as a friend.
Doris was not only a military wife stationed in Colorado, Virginia, Missouri, Germany and France, but spent her professional life as a data entry operator for Current, where she was recognized for her leadership for 22 years before her retirement.
Her motherly love was paralleled by her dedication to her faith, actively participating in the Pikes Peak Christian Church community.
An enthusiast of physical activity, Doris enjoyed swimming and participating in aerobics, which reflected her vitality and zest for life. Her leisure time was often spent at the pool or staying active around the community, which kept her vibrant and engaged.
Doris was a beloved mother to Ricky L (Jackie) Kiger, Gary C (Tammy) Kiger, and Sandra D (Rick) Swatek all of Colorado Springs, CO. She cherished her role as Oma to grandchildren: Nicholas (Becca) Kiger, Christopher (Barb) Kiger, Morgan (Ben) Stratman, Brett Kiger (Deceased), and Larissa Swatek. And Great Oma to Grayson and Addie Kiger, Elizabeth and Joshua Stratman, and Kaylee, Kenzi and Kiri Kiger.
Doris Leaves behind 3 siblings, sister Hedwig and brothers Klaus and Herman.
Doris was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Richard Lee Kiger, Sisters Lottie, Gerdi, Inge, and Lore, and her grandson Brett Allen Kiger.
Doris’s legacy of love, leadership, and community involvement will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A reception gathering for Doris will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado, with a funeral service to follow at1:00 PM.
Doris will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Block 216, Lot 74, Row 73, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
