

Beth was born on May 26, 1953 to Howard Jackson “Jack” and Margaret “Ann” Smith. She was the eldest of four girls.
Beth was an Army “kid” and lived in many places growing up. Her family moved to the Fountain / Widefield, CO area in the late 1960s.
Beth briefly attended Fountain Ft. Carson High School in Fountain, CO where she met her future husband. She graduated from Widefield High
School in 1971. She worked briefly as a beautician until she was married.
Beth enjoyed cooking, doing crafts, sewing, and doing cross stitching. She generously shared her “creations” with family and friends.
Beth loved children and was involved for decades in Children’s Ministries at her local church. Although she primarily taught children's Sunday School, she willingly volunteered to help out with numerous other children’s activities. Beth will be remembered for the investment she made in the lives of others.
Beth’s generosity in sharing her “creations” as well as her deep love for children are her legacies. Beth’s quiet, generous, thoughtful, and loving demeanor will be missed.
Beth leaves behind her sisters, Beverly Juanita “BJ” Roebuck, Karen Kochanko, and many nephews and nieces. In addition, Beth leaves behind her “adopted” boys, Alex and Bjorn Webber, who were like sons to her.
Beth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alan; her infant daughter, Ashley Sue; her parents Jack and Ann Smith; her sister, Linda Tucker; and a nephew, Scotty McIntyre.
A memorial service to celebrate Beth’s life will be held on June 10, 2025 at Eastborough Church of the Nazarene, 4123 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
A private burial service for family and close friends will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Fountain, CO, where she will be laid to rest.
