Hope Sanchez of Widefield, Colorado passed away on Friday June 20th at the age of sixty-nine, after lengthy health issues. She was the was the second oldest of nine children born on August 22nd, 1955, in Dallas Texas and grew up in Chicago, IL.
She is preceded in death by her Father Pedro L. Mendoza Sr. and sister Rosemarie Mendoza.
She is survived by her loving Husband of 52 years John T Sanchez Sr.; Her children, John T. Jr. Michael, Rosalinda, Edwina, (Bryan) Brooks; her grandchildren, Christopher, Rafael, Gabriel, Lana, Anita, Joshua, Reylinda, Alex and Jose, as well as nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Visitation at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 5354 Hwy 85 on July 3rd. Visitation with the family will begin at 9: am, with a rosary to follow at 10:30, and Mass at 11am.
The family will receive guests at a reception held at St. Dominic's Catholic Church.
Hope will be laid to rest at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
