When I visited my uncle Jim, we always had so much fun playing ladder golf in the yard or Wii bowling with each other. He had a very particular way he liked to bowl with us and it made everyone laugh. Him always made sure we had fun together and I am very thankful to have gotten to share these special moments with him and my family. 

From the time I was born, I had the great pleasure of being Jim's nephew. Him and I shared many of the same characteristics as I strived to be as great of a person as Jim was. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for someone no matter what he was going through or what he faced in his life. Even though Jim had lived far away from me, every time we visited each other we had the time of our lives and couldn't wait to see each other again. Going to miss Jim very much especially around the holidays and am so grateful that Jim was my uncle.

I met Jim when I moved to Ft. Meade in his neighborhood in the middle of 6th grade in 1984. It was my third grade school and we were fast friends; playing football, video games and business ventures in washing cars, mowing lawns and recycling cans from the golf course. I had never met someone my age with the will and perseverance to just figure things out and work through problems just for the hell of it. We laughed with and at each other on a daily basis. 

His family welcomed me in their home in a difficult time in my life. I am forever grateful to Jim, Stephanie, Susan, and his parents for their compassion. I’m sure none of them have any idea of how much it has meant to me all of these years. I’m compelled to tell them now and will forever regret not being able to tell Jim personally. 

I will always treasure my friendship with Jim. I loved him like a brother and I pray that God has welcomed him home, free of his mortal ailments, and with good seats to the Flyers.

I've had the honor of knowing Jim for the last 8+ years. He would come to our house and we would have some intense Wii sports tournaments. He had the bowling stance of a pro. All my memories of Jim are happy and fun. My children loved him as an uncle. You will always be in my memories and in my heart, Jim. I hope you are resting peacefully in your flyers jersey with your favorite cigar. 

My memories of Jim have always included his sister, Susan their relationship was like none other that I have ever known.  I was the fortunate one that was able to know Jim as Susan's little brother, it was hard to ever see him as an adult.  I think he felt the same about me, he loved to give me a hard time.
He will be missed tremendously, he left memories in all of our hearts.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Jim for only a short time. Jim was my brother-in-law and we would often text each other during hockey games. 
Jim was passionate about his Philadelphia Flyers and he let you know it.  When the Leafs played the Flyers he would text me and say, "We can't be friends " When the game was over he would let me know we were brothers again.
To me, Jim was a lot of fun to be around, had a great sense of humor and when he believed in something,  he was all in, like it or not.

I will miss you Jim.

My thoughts and payers are with you both and with Jim’s family and friends.  I’ve known Jim for over 18 years, first at Air Wisconsin Airlines and then SkyWest Airlines.  You could always count on Jim having a big smile, and he often a wise comment, just to poke you a little.  I enjoyed his company very much.  Jim was always willing to help, in whatever way he could.  He will be missed!
