James Tatum, age 88, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away peacefully on Friday, March 31, 2023. James was born in Kearney, Nebraska.

James is survived by his daughter Glenda Derry of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his daughter Patti Phelps of Gadsden, Alabama; his daughter-in-law Debbi Tatum of Peyton, Colorado; his step-daughter Michi Wruck of Parker, Colorado; his step-daughter Linda Coco of Whitefish, Montana; and his step-daughter Lyla Street of Monument, Colorado; Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his wife Kiyo (Takagi) Tatum; his son Thomas Tatum; his partner Kay Meyers.

A committal service with military honors for James will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4440 W. Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO.
