It is with profound regret to announce the passing of John William Heddings on February 12, 2015. John was born February 22, 1952 in Carrollton, Missouri to Reva and Elvin Heddings (deceased). A long time resident of Colorado Springs, John served in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 1976. John was a compassionate caring man who always helped anyone in need. He believed strongly in the value of family and we are all very grateful to have been a part of his life. We will miss him dearly! John is survived by daughters Faye Heddings, Elyse Reed (Heddings), son Jeremiah Heddings, wife Jessica and their children, Renzo and Lily; Mother Reva Fiandaca; sisters, Cathy Jacobs and Noni Benjamin; brothers, Ken Heddings, Gene Heddings and Larry Heddings. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at Dove-Witt Mortuary located at 6630 S. U.S. Highway8 85-87, Fountain, CO 80817 on Thursday February 19th, 2015 at 1:00pm.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association.
