Judy S. Young

She was born in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin to Herbert and Marie (Jensen) Nelson on January 29, 1941. The family moved to Hillsboro in 1956, where Judy graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1959. After high school she moved to Madison where she had her first insurance job. She continued in that field as a

coder/underwriter until her retirement in September 2006.

She is survived by her loving children, Julie Young, James (Melissa) Young and Jennifer (Steve) Peterson; her grandchildren Brendan (Kelli), Cambria (Kenn), Dalton, Briana (Jon), Loren, Abigail and Gage; 11 (soon to be 12) great-grandchildren; her sister Sandy (LeRoy) Egstad and brothers, Pete Nelson, Larry (Kathy) Nelson and Kenny Nelson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 year, Joel, her parents and 3 brothers, Gary, Richard and Mike.

A life celebration will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S US Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817.

In honor of our mom we will be wearing blue or turquoise. We invite you to do the same.
