Karen Ogden, of Widefield, Colorado passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018. She was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Karen graduated from Widefield High School, Pikes Peak Community College and UCCS. She earned her masters degree in psychology counseling. She specialized in domestic violence working with offenders.
Karen worked with several law enforcement agencies that included, Manitou Police Dept., Sheriff's Office and Colorado Springs Police Dept. She was also a dispatcher for the 911 call facility.
Karen is survived by her mother, Norma Daniels of Colorado Springs, a daughter, Leah (Michael Dionne), brother, Jerry Law (Kathy), sisters, Vickie Keech of Florida, Rita (Lionel Townley) and Sharon (Billy Turano), of Colorado Springs, 5 nieces and 3 nephews, along with 2 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the Pikes Peak Christian Church 4955 Bradley Rd. Security , Colorado
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen's name to Pikes Peak Hospice.
