Robert Lee Boyd Jr.

Robert L. Boyd Jr. succumbed to Pancreatic cancer on August 8, 2020 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family. He had previously been diagnosed and successfully overcame Prostate cancer.

Robert is survived by his wife Michele of 37 years, sons Kristopher, Robert and Jake, daughter Lainie and many loving grandchildren, and extended family. Robert was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone.

Robert loved sports, especially baseball and football, where his favorite teams were the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos. He proudly served 15 years in the US Army. After retiring from the US Army, he started a new career with the US Postal Service. He retired 2013. He took pride in making sure his yard was meticulously manicured. He also made it a point to have an immaculately clean car.

You could always count on Robert to help family and friends.

A special thank you to the people at Suncrest Hospice in Colorado Springs for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Dove-Witt Family Mortuary for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
