Born on December 4th, 1985, in Kirkwood, Missouri, to his parents Mike and Bernie Dittmann, Steve was an enthusiastic reader of fantasy and sci-fi novels, comic books, and manga. He found peace and excitement when losing himself in the myriad of worlds created within his book collection, and counted authors such as Brandon Sanderson, George RR Martin, Terry Goodkind, Brent Weeks, and many others among his favorites. Within seconds he could fully and accurately answer any question you had about the MCU Multiverse, a galaxy far, far away, The Cosmere, and many others. It is difficult to find a fantasy book series he hadn't dabbled in, or an author that Steve had not read at least one of their works.
When Steve wasn't reading, he would spend time playing video games, particularly RPGs. His love for these digital representations of fantastical worlds stretched from the mainstream to the niche and included the likes of the Final Fantasy Series, Dragon Quest, the Agarest series, the Tales series, World of Warcraft, Star Ocean, and many others. He also loved football (but mostly Tom Brady), MMA, and the TV show Jeopardy. He also enjoyed cooking, as long as it didn't include vegetables. Steve could be counted on to provide you a countless number of ways to prepare your meal and would passionately debate you about the best ways to make your meal the best it could be.
Steve is survived by his parents, his brothers Chris and his wife Jennifer, his brother Matt and his girlfriend Paige, his sister Jackie and her husband Stephan, his niece Rylee, nephews Avery and Landon, and numerous friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
