Troy E. Hayes

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend, Troy E. Hayes passed away on August

26, 2011 in Colorado Springs, CO. Born on September 28, 1928 in Weiser, ID.

Preceded in death by his Father George E. Hayes and Mother Dessie White Hayes and

siblings John Hayes, Mary Cotes and Florence Hayes. He married Marianne Schreiber

on May 21, 1955 in Augsburg, Germany. He served his country honorably in the Armed Forces

and the Civil Services for 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Marianne Hayes, three

sons, George Hayes, Robert Hayes, and Kurt Hayes. He has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, whom he treasured, adored, and would do anything for.

A visitation will be held in his honor on September 2, 2011 from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Funeral will follow at 11:00am.Donations can be made to Memorial Hospital Cancer Center.

He has touched many lives and will best be remembered for his cunning whit, sarcasm, simple spirit, adamant love for all sports and a heart of gold. We couldn't ask for a better man with passion for his family and love of sports and the outdoors. We will never forget the moments we shared, as well as his mannerisms. He brought the utmost joy to all of our lives. We will forever miss our favorite Sports Announcer, father, grandfather, and friend. Rest in Peace, WE LOVE YOU!!
