Wilma "Jean" (Trujillo) Sanchez

Wilma (Mostly known as Jean) was born in Costilla, New Mexico on February 13, 1949 to Clifford and Virginia Trujillo.

The family moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado and that is where Jean attended local schools, graduating from William J. Palmer High School in 1967, and the University of Kansas City Missouri with a Business degree.

Jeans dedication and work ethics was impeccable. She retired from the Social Security Administration in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after 30 plus years of service.

After retirement she moved back to Colorado Springs, where she was presently working as a tax accountant.

Jean was full of life, laughter and love. She adored her South Western Culture, artifacts, pottery, and turquoise. Most of all Jean had a personal relationship with our lord and Savior.

Wilma jean is preceded in death by her husband Art Sanchez, her father, Clifford Trujillo, and beloved son, Ian Matthew Maldonado.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Trujillo, two brothers, Ray Trujillo and Dan Trujillo, sisters, Romaine Maldonado and Irene Duenas, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and beautiful friends.

A celebration of life for Jean will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 12:00 PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817.
