Bonnie Jeanne Cruze Born September 12, 1946 On Monday, December 4, 2017, of Fredericksburg, VA , at the age of 71. Loving wife of 38 years to Arthur Noll. Daughter of the late Jack D. and Yvonne Ducat Cruze. Loving mother of Heidi Cohen Porto (Roger Pearson), of Fredericksburg, VA, Jared S. Cruze (Kim), of St. Petersburg, FL, Erin Ballantyne Granzow (Danny), of Bowie, MD, and JeanPaul Rivero Cruze (Melanie), of Washington, DC. Sister of Captain Gregory S. Cruze, USN, (ret) (Claudia Dupuy), of Alexandria, VA, and Kathryn Cruze, of New York City, NY. Grandmother to Kate Harding, Savannah Granzow, Sophie Granzow, and Daniel Granzow, Jr. Bonnie was born into a military family and grew up in many places all-around the country and the world. At one point, she lived on the island of Midway, in the South Pacific, as her father, Jack, was an officer in the US Navy. Bonnie was born in Pensacola, Florida. She cherished her southern roots. Both of her parents were born and raised in New Orleans, LA (Slidell). She also spent many of her young years growing up in Mt. Vernon in Alexandria, VA. At a young age, it was apparent that Bonnie was a gifted musician and received a full scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. Always the romantic, Bonnie pursued other dreams at the time, and that was motherhood. Bonnie was a poetic writer, a lover of music and art, as well as a skilled executive assistant to a well known law firm in Virginia. Bonnie was a loving mother and grandmother. She and Skip had many homes around the country over their 38 year marriage, which included homes in San Francisco, Miami, Fredericksburg, VA, Indianapolis, and the Baltimore area in MD. Bonnie suffered for many years from Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Friends may call at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home, 1621 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401 on Saturday, December 16, 2017, from 12noon - 2pm. Cremation will follow at a later date.
