She was born on March 29, 1949 in Fredericksburg, VA the daughter of the late Henry Howard Gayle and Fanny Estelle (Loving) Gayle. She retired from Woodmont Nursing Home in Fredericksburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Dodd, Jr. and her son, Harry T. Hall; sister, Anne Kastellos and husband Nicholas; brother, Henry Howard Gayle, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Ronald Hall, Jr (Starla) of Stafford, VA; Michelle Graham (Thomas) of Texas, Patricia Roberts (Matthew Allen) of Lawrenceville, VA and Christopher M. Dodd, Sr (Michelle Hoover) of Richmond, VA; one sister, Nettie Popeck of O’Fallon, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am Monday, September 29, 2025 at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA
