She was born on October 17, 1944 in Illinois the daughter of the late Donald and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Von Beulwitz. She was the owner of the Dancing Bear Rescue, a successful dog rescue in Stafford, VA.
Survivors include her husband Richard G. Bennett, Jr. of Stafford, VA; five daughters, Ellen Snyder of Madison, VA, Regina Moreau of Stafford, VA, Elizabeth Snyder of Fredericksburg, VA, Tracy Hilton of Montpelier, VA, Susan Erwin of Roanoke, VA; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
