She was born on June 17, 1929, in Fredericksburg, VA, daughter to Lafayette Coleman and Fannie Coleman. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Keith Johnson and her 11 siblings.
Frances, affectionately known as “Duck” and “Granny” leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Patricia Martin (Petersburg, VA), Ottawa Johnson, Jr. (Fredericksburg, VA), Gwendolyn Smith (King George, VA) and J. Pamela Johnson (Fredericksburg, VA); 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Second New Hope Baptist Church (3836 Summit Crossing Rd, Fredericksburg, VA) beginning at 11:00 a.m.
