He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; two sons, George Melville Hope V and fiancée, Lindsey Gould of Fredericksburg and Graham Morgan Hope of Fredericksburg; sister, Nancy Canody of Virginia; and two grandsons, George Melville Hope VI and Graham Morgan Hope II.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Mullins and Thompson Fredericksburg, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
