Mrs. Hartzell was a member of the Fredericksburg VFW Womens Auxillary and loved being a part of the Spotsylvania Senior Center.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen Eaton and her husband Ron of Woodford; two sons, Robert Hartzell and his wife Sue of West Bend WI. and Rickey Hartzell of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Bill and Leslie Gregory both of Swindon, England; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hartzell.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Spotsylvania Senior Center, 8800 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553.
