Mrs. Jae Won Moon was born in Seoul, Korea on June 22, 1933. The youngest daughter of four children, Mrs. Moon graduated high school and then married at the age of 21 to Mr. Young Chul Moon on June 4, 1955. They were blessed with five daughters: Ock Chu, Hui Chu, Myung Chu, Kyung Chu and Chin Chu. In 1971, at the age of 38, the family moved from Seoul to Maryland, and shortly after to Stafford, Virginia.
A devoted wife of 47 years, Mrs. Moon was also a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother to 12, and great-grandmother to two. She joyfully dedicated her life to her family. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed traveling.
