She is survived by her husband, Tyrone Mount; her son, Stephen Mount (Melissa); her daughter, Katharine Mount Dressler; and her sister, Eleanor Berger Guilmain (Ralph).
Jill will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Jackson and Emma; and her nephew, James Spencer (Michelle).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Anna Mae; and her sister, Roselma “Tudy” Herring.
Jill was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma: of the women’s education society: Beta Eta Chapter.
She was the corresponding Secretary for the Mine Run Chapter, DAR and a librarian and teacher for Fredericksburg City Schools.
Jill enjoyed gardening, crafting and genealogy.
A visitation for Jill will be held from 12:30pm-2:00pm on February 11, 2021 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. Mrs. Mounts service will start at 2:00pm.
Her burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Monrovia, MD on February 12, 2021 at 2:00pm. Weather permitting.
