Kevin Andrew Galendez Garrett, 22 of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024.
Kevin graduated from Stafford High School in 2020 and attended VCU. He enjoyed amateur music production, watching movies, anime, and other activities with his family and friends. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Romualda (Riza) of Fredericksburg, brother Justin of Fredericksburg, grandparents, Charles and Marsha Garrett of Bushnell, Illinois and Leonarda and June DaCallos from Yigo, Guam.
He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, Tony and Rose Bahan of Yigo, Guam, Dave and Cherry Grainger of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Shawn and Tiffany Galendez of Cyprus, Texas, Charles (Tony) and Nicole Garrett of Galesburg, Illinois, Joe and Marigold Galendez of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Amy Galendez of Fredericksburg: and numerous cousins, Krista Bahan of Yigo Guam, Ava and Koda Galendez of Cyprus, Texas, Benjamin, Liberty and Justice Garrett of Galesburg Illinois, Dalton and Candace Grainger of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Will and Liony Maynard of Travis AFB, California, Joshua and Julia Ehler of Texas, Rhett and Payton Burk of Texas, and John Tyler Espino of Texas.
He is preceded in death by his Grandpa, Felix Galendez, and cousin, Evan Weedman.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel from 6:00-8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
