She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Milton Ernest Pitts.
She is survived by her son, Lillard Milton Pitts (Diane); daughters, Charmie Brooks ( Larry), Alveda McFadden (Russell), Shirley Feducia (Robert) and Darlene Causey; sisters, Ada Carlson and Gladys Brooks; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Brooks II, Ronald Brooks, Kris Brooks, Russell McFadden II, Anthony Feducia, Jarrett Pitts, David Kincade and Tim Clarkson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg chapel where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
