He is survived by his wife, Tamara; mother, Inez Bunte; sister, Desiree Velez; mother-in-law, Frances Echelbarger; brother-in-law, Mark Echelbarger; sister-in-law and husband, Debby and Bill Morris; two nieces and their husbands, Catlin and Caleb Kenyon and Lindsey and Kenneth Playford; nephew, Shaun Morris; and one great nephew, Ezra and one great niece, Mercy. He is also survived by the Torres, Velez, Diaz, Bjarnason, Buzzetta, Felt, Cruz, Pagan, and Steigleder families.
He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo Velez; paternal grandparents, Eugenio and Carmen Velez; maternal grandma, Carmen Torres (MAMA); maternal grandpa, Gerardo Torres; three aunts, Benita- Effie Torres, Ramona Torres, and Lucila Torres; two uncles, Alejandro Torres and William Diaz.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel from 6-8:00 pm.
