Michael was a Navy Veteran that loved nothing more than performing at the Riverside Dinner Theater and painting murals around the city. From the two-story mural behind Spirits to the wooden stand-up trolley greeter (painted of his step-father, Jerry Moore) Michael’s art can be found all around the city.
Michael is survived by his mother - Patricia Moore, his sisters – Vivian and Dianne Wood, his children – Erin, Rachel and Derek Wood, his grandchildren – Bella Wood and Jackson Nalley and the mother of his children – Anita Kirkland.
The family will receive friends at the Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service this Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Wounded Warrior Project.
