Morris Christopher Jennings Sr.

Morris C. Jennings Sr. was born in Columbia, South Carolina on March 22, 1950 to Lucille and Ishmael Jennings. When Morris was a little older he moved to New Jersey with his family and attended Central high school. After high school, Morris joined the U.S. Navy and after his military service he later went to work at General Motors and married and had two children. Morris was a devoted father and an avid music lover. He loved to play the drums and served as a deacon at his church while living in New Jersey. Morris was a lover of a good three piece suit and he loved cars. He was an excellent trivia player. He was a spiritual man and loved attending church when he could. Morris is survived by his son Morris Christopher Jennings; daughter, Lamar Rene’ Jennings and granddaughter, Dejah S. Jennings. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who know him.

A visitation for Morris will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 3:00 PM, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401. A graveside service will occur Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10:30 AM at National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172.
