She was born on December 28, 1946, in Laurel, Maryland to the late George and Dorothy (Souder) Adams.
Peggy worked for over 40 years at CVS and was a beloved employee.
As the glue to the family, she loved having them around, playing games and spending quality time with them. Her grandchildren were especially important to her, and she made it a top priority to be active in their lives. She was overjoyed to welcome her newest great-grandson, who is due to arrive any day. She was known for many things, one being a very sharp and witty sense of humor and enjoyed pulling pranks on family and trying to guess punchlines on lame dad jokes. She was fiercely loyal and was always ready to help her loved ones however she could.
Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Albert Russell Farris; two sisters: Dorothy and Nancy; one brother, Lawrence; and her son-in-law, Allen Farris.
Survivors include one son, Jerome Tressa; two daughters: Linda Farris and Annette Wade; son-in-law Darrell Wade and daughter-in-law Mary Tressa, six sisters: Shirley, Darlene, Terry, Beaty, Carolyn and Joanne; seven grandchildren: Carl, Crystina, Kayla, Nicholas, Jade, Dylan and McKenzie; and one great granddaughter, Athena. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, her wish would be that everyone spend quality time with their family.
