Mr. Tetu was born in Maine on September 12, 1933 to Philip and Marie (Bolduc) Tetu.
Prior to his retirement he was a practicing attorney, author and private pilot.
He graduated with a B.A in History from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine then went on to Georgetown University of Law in Washington D.C. where he received his Law degree. He taught law at Northeastern University in Boston and was a Spotsylvania County magistrate.
Philip is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Tetu; son, Philip Tetu III; daughter, Nina Tetu; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Joanne Tetu of FL.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, VA.
