Robert Samuel Catlett

Robert Samuel Catlett, 94 of White Oak passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Annie of 65 years; daughter, Deborah Washington (Mike); two sons, Kevin Catlett (Donna) and Steven Catlett (Loree); grandchildren, Krystal, Michael, Chris, Laura, Heather, & Lindsay; great grandchildren, Jaydan, Noah, Elijah, Maddox, Owen, & Andrew. He was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. Robert was a well-respected man that people in the White Oak area looked up to. To his family he was Robert, Dad, Granddaddy, a wonderful man who clearly received a lot of joy bringing laughter and jokes to those around him. In some instances, the responses given back to him seemed to encourage him even more. Robert was not only a man who loved the Lord, but he loved his family as well and chose humorous ways to share that love. Many a day you could hear him calling his wife, Annie, by the name fondly given to her, Rooster. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church at 12:00 pm, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank his Hospice team for Robert’s care.
