Robert Allen Goetter

“Bob” Goetter Passed away peacefully on January 21, 2012 surrounded by his family.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Carol of 47 years, three wonderful daughters, Cheryl Orr, Barbara Gelmetti, Kimm Henry and his three son-in-laws, who he loved as sons, Doug Orr, Bob Gelmetti and Tom Henry. He felt privileged to have known and loved his 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Christine and Emily Orr, Ryan and Meghan Henry, Kasey and Billy Connor, Meridith, Maddie and Hannah Gelmetti.
Bob was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a commercial artist and owned CR Art Service on Long Island and Williamsburg, Virginia. He was the art director for the Colonial Bulletin, AM Track Magazine, Equal Opportunity Magazines and designed many toy boxes of which some are still used today.
After moving to Northern Virginia, Bob was employed as a Quality Assurance Inspector for Argenbright / Cognisa Security Company and worked closely with America on Line (AOL) in their corporate headquarters, Dulles, Virginia.
Bob’s worldly body will be cremated. There will be no services.
You may make contributions in his name to Alzheimer’s Association. Bob believed that in one’s life you must marry, have children and plant a tree. He did all of these things.
