Virginia Craig Weedon 91 of Fredericksburg, passed away on September 27, 2014. She was predeceased by her daughter Rebecca Sue Weedon, and siblings Charles Craig, Henry Craig and Raymond Craig.Virginia graduated from Chancellor High School then worked as a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone until she retired. Virginia was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Robert M. Weedon, son Robert C. Weedon, daughter in law Ann S. Weedon, Granddaughters, Brooke A. Weedon and Meghan E. Weedon. Virginia loved working outdoors with her gardens and flowers. Her flowers and yard were always impeccable. She was able to continue working her gardens until her late-80's when Alzheimer's made it impossible for her to get outside and move around. There will be a graveside service Wednesday October 1st at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association. She was loved by her family and will be remembered always.
