Rob and Family,
We are so deeply saddened to hear of your Dad's passing.  I had the privilege of meeting him when he visited our work place.  He had an immediate presence that was friendly, comfortable and supportive even as I met him.  A proud Navy veteran, he was an instant “Shipmate” to all of us who served and we shared stories and experiences as if we'd known each other for years.
His love for you, your Mom and your family was laced throughout much of our conversations that day. It was from that meeting with your Dad that I knew exactly where you got your foundation in becoming such a good man yourself.
My thoughts and prayers and deep respect will be with you, your Mom and family in the difficult times/adjustments ahead.

You and your family are in our prayers. Leon was one of the finest men I ever had the privilege of working with. I was lucky to have enjoyed his friendship, humor, and outstanding "can do" attitude for 10 years at DCA. He was a major asset to both DCA and IAD and loved by all who knew him.
