William “B.J.” Bennett passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. He was born February 19, 1980 to William “Bill” and Tina Bennett. Born in Maryland, he moved to Summerduck, VA where he completed K-12, graduating from Liberty High School.
B.J followed in his father’s foot prints, both as a truck driver and as a die hard Dallas Cowboys Fan. He took a lot of pride as a Lowboy driver for McLeod Trucking. B.J could state --- facts or stats from Dallas football games.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Tina Bennett; aunt, Susan Morabito; uncles, Paul Morabito (Cheryl) and Joe Morabito (Tish), and the love of his life, Elizabeth Loughery.
He will also be greatly missed by his many cousins, close friends and the Loughery family who considered him to be family and he loved dearly.
B.J is preceded in death by his mentor and best friend, his father, Bill Bennett.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday October 29, 2019 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with a visitation an hour prior to his service. Interment will be private
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to the White Oak Rescue Squad or White Oak Fire Department
