Bonnie Jo Lawson

Bonnie was born on July 17, 1942 in Fulton, Mo. to Jimmy and Elise Lawson. She was raised by her beloved grandparents Ocie and Thomas Johnson; along with her first cousin/sisters, Patricia Sallee and Angela Thomas, and cousin/brother, Gregory Thomas whom have all preceded her in death.

She worked at the Old Callaway Hospital and Presbyterian Manor until she retired. She enjoyed talking on the phone, rummage sales, shopping, traveling, planting flowers and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister Jamie Lewis- Lawson of Chicago, Il.; three children, Don Lawson and wife Charlene, Terry Lawson and Donna Lawson; one great aunt, Alma Lambert; and seven grandchildren, Donielle Lawson, Rachon Lawson, Damien Lawson, Tiara Lawson, Mario Lawson, Adrian Lawson, and Addie Lawson. She is also leaves behind three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and devoted friends to cherish her memories.

Services will be at 1 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday October 5, 2012 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton.
