Francis Dale Hook

Francis was born on September 11, 1943 in Fulton, MO the son of Benjamin and Dorothy (Reeves) Hook who preceded him in death. Dale retired from Mo-Con as a concrete truck driver in 2006 after 44 years. He was a member of Central Christian Church. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman and hardworking. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, mushroom hunting and watching NASCAR.

When talking to Dale you might have signed yourself up for a talk that may last up to an hour. He always kept track of the results of the NASCAR races and the rain, there was not a thing you couldn’t ask him about the weather the past 10 years he probably wouldn’t know. When he gave you a hard time that’s how you knew he really liked you. He was a very humble man and believed that there was a fine line between right and wrong and he would definitely let you know about it. When you saw Dale he was most likely in one of his Mo-Con shirts that was slightly unbuttoned and a cap.

Survivors include: two sons, Sam Hook (Theresa) of Troy, MO and Brian Hook (Debbie) of Madison, MO; his significate other for the past 26 years, Betty Frueh of the home; five grandchildren, Shaun, Austin, Dakota, Destinee and Peyton and three great-grandchildren, Levi, Jaxon and Kate-Lynn. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Larry Hook and Randy Hook.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Central Christian Church Cemetery near Fulton, MO.
