Francis Lee Ward

Francis was born on October 30, 1933 in Mokane, MO the son of William and Violet Fern (Hickerson) Ward who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1954 - 1956. He retired after 40 years from the Carpenters Union #945. Francis was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hunting, fishing and tinkering around the house and fixing things with his hands.

Survivors include five children, Kimberly DeLeon (George) of Michigan, Dianna Klaas of Mokane, MO, Alan Ward of Columbia, MO, Randall Ward of Columbia, MO and Rhonda Platek of Portland, MO; his best friend, Buddy Joe Rogers of Mokane, MO; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, George Ward and Donald Ward; two sisters, Violet Ward and Wilma Bartley; one son, Steven Ward; one daughter, Christina Farris and one grandson, Adam Lee Ward.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will follow in Mokane Cemetery.
