Marcia was born on March 5, 1955 in Hannibal, MO the daughter of John and Gladys (Ewing) Miller who preceded her in death. In 1973, she graduated from Jefferson City High School. On July 1, 1977 in Tahlequah, OK she was united in marriage to Joseph Hoelscher. She retired in 2006 from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as a supervisor. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, deer hunting with her husband, photography, and being artistic and creative. Marcia was very passionate about researching genealogy, her Siamese cats and spending time with her family.
Survivors include: her husband of 44 years, Joseph Hoelscher of the home; one son, Joshua Ewing Frank Hoelscher of Jefferson City, MO; two daughters, Jacqueline Elizabeth Lilley (Robert) of Tebbetts, MO and Rachel Joanne Figard (Finney) of Holts Summit, MO; six grandchildren, Jonathon, Devlin, Jessamine, Joseph, Kerry and Rogan and four great-grandchildren, Dani, Valentina, Jaxxtyn and Lealah. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Mark Miller and her best friend Cinda the cat.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Central Christian Church, Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the church with Rev Bill Nigus officiating. Burial will be in Central Christian Church Cemetery.
