Mary was born on December 12, 1920 in Fulton, MO the daughter of Herman and Marie (Sauter) Lammers who preceded her in death. She was married in 1948 in Fulton, MO to Lee Roy McDonald who preceded her in death in 1987. Mary was a faithful member of United Church of Christ in Fulton, MO. She retired from the Callaway County Courthouse after 30 plus years of working. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include: one son, Gary Wayne McDonald of St. Charles, MO; five grandchildren, Mary Adkins (Lat) of Oklahoma City, OK, Jeff Wilber (Kendra) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jennifer Terry (Josh) of Casa Grande, AZ, Amy McDonald of Fulton, MO and Janice McDonald-Cornish of Fulton, MO; ten great-grandchildren, Marianna Elizabeth Adkins, Elizabeth Kathryn Wilber, Christopher Aidan Wilber, William August Brown, Jaida Walker, Jordan Ousley, Mariah Ousley, Aidan Cheney, Caydan Braxton and Charlie Cornish Jr; son-in-law, Walter Wilber of Casa Grande, AZ; daughter-in-law, Vicky McDonald of Fulton, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Lee Wilber; her son, Charles Herman McDonald; three brothers, John Lammers, Fred Lammers and Carl Lammers; two sisters, Katie Lammers and Louise Lammers and one granddaughter, Cheryl McDonald.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 am with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Fulton, MO.
