

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Bruce Williamson at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery near Calwood, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Nick was born on February 5, 1957 in Wapello, Iowa to Clarence and Martha Standley Miller who preceded him in death. He was married to Kathy Strickland in Oklahoma and she survives in Fulton.
He was a 1975 graduate of Wapello High School and had operated Fulton Pest Control and MPC Data in Fulton for over 30 years.
Nick was a great cook who especially enjoyed smoking meat and hosting family meals and fish frys. He also enjoyed fishing and taking care of his dogs but his greatest love was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by sons, Adam (Theresa) Miller of Columbia, Missouri, Arthur (Tammy) Strickland of Ham’s Prairie, Missouri and Robert Miller of Fulton; daughters, Nichol (Tony) Trimble of Fulton, Mary (Matthew) Quartemont of Fulton and Heather (Wade) Hawkins of Fulton; brother, Richard Miller of Colorado; sister, Judy Cowles of Illlinois; sister-in-law, Dixie Miller of Kansas; grandchildren, Devin Hoover, Megin Mechlin, Krista Strickland, Aaron Strickland, Princeton Miller, Liam Quartemont, Mira Quartemont, Isaac Quartemont, Brianna Hawkins, Dylan Hawkins, Noah Hawkins, Hunter Joe Hawkins, Haley Trimble and John Trimble; niece, Tammy (Danny) Robinson of Steedman, Missouri; nephews Jeffrey Strickland of Fulton and Charles (Bonnie) Strickland of Vichie, Missouri; seven great-granddaughters and six great-nieces.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Miller
