Ava Nelle Moore

Ava Nelle Moore, age 100, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, February 13, 2023, at First Baptist Church Gadsden, Nowlin Chapel. Rev. Mat Alexander and Rev. Larry Fuhrman will officiate. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery. The family will accept friends from 12:00PM until the hour of the service at the church. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse M. Moore; son, Robert J. “Bob” Moore; parents, Arnton and Ethel Windsor Ponder; brother, James Truman Ponder; and sister, Ethel Payne.

She is survived by her daughters, Kay and Ann Moore.

Pallbearers will be Jim Brittain, Benjamin Cornutt, Randy Gilliland, Eddie Nichols, Jonathan Nichols, and Jim Cornutt.
