Charles Leon Cambron passed away February 8, 2019. Visitation will be 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Collier Butler with a graveside service to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Crestwood Cemetery Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Charles was a 1948 graduate of Anniston High School and attended Jacksonville State University.
He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church.
He was a member of Briarmeade Golf Club for over fifty years, and he treasured the life-long friendships that were formed there.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean Cambron; daughters Beth (Wayne) Hill and Nancy Bice; grandchildren Josh (Heather) Hill; Emily (Kevin) Hanner; Andrew Bice; Bennett Bice; Cambron Bice; brother Bill Cambron; niece Debbie Brooks; nephews Bubba Cambron; Barry Cambron; Earl Cambron.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and Johnny Bone. Honorary pallbearers bill be golfing buddies at Briarmeade and Ray Grigsby.
