Charles Arthur Massey Jr.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 11, 2015 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Charles “Cam” Massey, Jr.,55, of Gadsden who passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. Jack Anderson will be the speaker. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation service is directing.

Mr. Massey graduated from Gaston High School in 1977. He enjoyed many different hobbies, including: fishing, boating, camping, antique cars (especially working on Jaguars) and building and riding four wheelers. He was retired from Willock Brothers Block Plant in Maryville, Tn.

He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Jannie Sue Gilbert.

He is survived by Carma; sons, Josh Hunter, and Charles “Trey” Massey, III (Heather); father, Charles “Charlie” (Paulette Lee) Massey, Sr.; mother, Hazel Massey; grandchildren, Kailee Hunter, and Elijah Massey; sister, Laurie Massey; and his little dog “Jag”.

Special thanks to the Doctors and staff at Riverview Medical Center; Jack Anderson; Rhonda Clark; Gadsden Twirlers Square Dance Club; and to all of our friends for their prayers and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
