

Graveside Military committal service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will officiate with Collier Butler Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Stevens loved Alabama football, Braves baseball and watching his grandson play soccer. He was employed at Meadow Gold Dairies as a tank truck driver for over 30 years until retirement in 1992.
Preceding him in death are his parents, James Perry and Ludicy Stevens; wives, Della Graham Stevens and Vernie Peek Stevens; brothers, J.V. Stevens, Sam Stevens, Winfred Stevens, Ray Stevens; sisters, Nell Swiney, Jewel Stevens; granddaughters, Michelle Cochran, Elizabeth Cochran, and Kellie Cochran. He leaves behind a daughter, Judy Culpepper Cochran (husband, Mike) granddaughter, Casey Shockley (husband Eli); grandson, Joel Cochran; great-granddaughter Emma Grace Shockley; brother, Glen Stevens; sisters, Sue Stevens and Janie Dobbins; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers staff of Marshall County VA, Dr. Kendra Shepard, Staff of Col. Robert Howard State Retirement Home of Pell City, Unit 6 B at BVA, Fair Haven Rehabilitation, and Palliative Care at BVA.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends for visitation Monday at 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to service at Collier Butler funeral home.
