Daisy Bruce, age 85, passed away peacefully at UAB Hospital on June 28th, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Verbon (Bob), her brother Mack Smith and wife Thelma, and brother-in-laws Samuel (Red) Hardy, and Riley Dobbs.
She is survived by her son Bobby Sr. (Sharon), her grandchildren Bobby Jr. and Brandon (Stacy), her great grandchildren Benjamin, Jaxon, Elizabeth, Evelynn and Nathan. Her sister Lilly Mae Dobbs, her sister-in-law Inez Hardy and a host of nieces and nephews. She was an employee of Gadsden Post Office for 45 ½ years.
Funeral Service will be at 2pm at Collier-Butler Funeral Home on Friday July 2nd with Brother David Carroll officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 with service to follow. Burial will be at Clayton Cemetery.The family would like to thank the Palliative Care and Comfort Unit and UAB Hospital.
