

Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Estelle C. Wilson, age 99 of Gadsden who passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012. Rev. Charles Beshears and Rev.Bobby Head will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Mrs. Wilson was born July 12, 1912 in St. Clair County to Henry B. and Esther E. Oldham and was a longtime resident of Gadsden. She was a member of East Gadsden Church of God, loved reading her Bible, was a devout Christian and a very talented seamstress.
Her husband, Erskin P. Wilson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Allen S. Wilson and wife Dot, Gadsden, Mary W. Clay, Long Beach, MS and Shirley W. Loggans and husband, Albert M. of Beauford, SC, grandchildren, Gil Clay, Clinton, MS, David Allen Clay and wife Alison, Long Beach, MS, Brian C.M. Loggans, Columbia, SC and Melinda C.E. Gannon and Husband John B., Beauford, SC, great grandchildren, Katie, Jeremy, Brandi Clay and great great grandson, Jaxon Clay, one niece and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Amedysis Hospice and Dr. Webb Sledge and staff.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
