Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m.Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel.

Rev. John Richey will officiate.

Interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Jester loved and was devoted to her family. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She participated in the children’s activities. Mrs. Jester was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Frankln Shortnacy and Lillian Estelle Hunt Shortnacy. Brother: Eugene Shortnacy; Sister: Malvie Shortnacy; and daughter-in-law: Cullisia Jester.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Loyd Jester; Sons: Ricky (Carolyn) Jester, Randy (Pam) Jester, Mike Jester and daughter: Sandra (Bryan) Clontz. Brothers: Billy Joe (Lares) Shortnacy, J.L. (Nancy) Shortnacy, David (Joyce) Shortnacy, and Aaron (Arlina) Shortnacy. Several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Special best friend: Frankie Barger.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Special thanks to her Comfort Care Hospice nurse Tonya Brown, Alabama Cancer Center, Dr. Sengar and staff.

The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday evening, February 16, 2013 from 6-8pm

at the funeral home.
