Frances (Spurling) Warren

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 22nd, 2018, at 12:30 p.m., at Collier-Butler Chapel for Frances (Spurling) Warren, 84, of Gadsden, who passed away Tuesday, December 18th, 2018. Mary Jane Anderson will officiate. Interment will be at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Boaz, AL. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.

Frances attended General Forrest High School and later achieved her Etowah County GED. She was the former Cafeteria Manager at Rainbow City K-Mart. She enjoyed playing bingo, but most importantly she was a full time mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marona and Willie Mae Spurling; husband, Lott Warren Jr.; son, Barry Dean Warren; grandson, Carson Jacob Warren; three brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa (David) Anderson; sons, Michael (Josie) Warren, Phillip (Sandra) Warren; grandchildren, Mark (Mary Jane) Anderson, Teri Anderson, Matthew Lott (April) Warren, Michael Jacob Warren, Ashley (Chris) Johnston, Zachary Warren, Anna Warren, Katie Warren, Jace Lott Warren, Alicia (Justin) Williams, Andrew (Krystal) Warren, Nathan (Rachel) Warren, Brandi (Brent) Skaggs; 18 great grandchildren; sisters in law, Bonnie Spurling and Barbara Ann Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Honorary pallbearers will be all grandsons and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Akinsanya, Gadsden Regional Medical Center, and Coosa Valley Nursing Home staff.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
