Funeral services for Mr. Fredrick Stephen Franklin, 76, of Hokes Bluff, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Ryan Morris, Bro. Frank Hunt and Jimmy Gidley will officiate with burial to follow at Old Harmony Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Mr. Franklin passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Peggy McLendon Franklin; daughters, Amanda Franklin and her husband, Evan Roberts, and Susan Pair and her husband, Michael Pair; grandson, Russell Pair; sister, Anne Slate and her husband, Ralph; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to your favorite charity or to First Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the MICU unit at Gadsden Regional and the 9th Floor staff.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
